Critical Illness Group Insurance Plan
Great Eastern Critical Illness is designed to provide a financial net for the insured member that is suddenly diagnosed with a critical illness. As well as additional medical coverage for the employee benefit package insurance.
This is only applicable with Group Accelerated Living Assurance optional rider. It is part of Great Eastern employee benefit group insurance, Great Bizcare insurance plan.

Great Eastern Critical Illness
Critical Illness Insurance rider from Great Eastern provides financial protection when the insured member is diagnosed with specificied critical illness. Or with one of the condition in the predetermined list.
In the event of the employee is being diagnosed with critical illness, Great Eastern will give the rider sum assured in one lump sum to the beneficiaries. Except for Angioplasty and other invasive treatments for coronary artery disease.
Great Eastern Critical Illness for group insurance is available in Great Eastern BizCare (GBC) insurance plan.

Great Eastern Critical Illness Exclusions
Like other insurance companies, there are certain limitations in Great Eastern Critical Illness insurance plan coverage. There are certain conditions where they will not provide a payout to the beneficiaries.
For example, Great Eastern shall not be liable for any Covered Events under List A if the insured member has previously been diagnosed with or has undergone surgery for a corresponding Covered Event specified under List B.
