AIA Group Hospitalization and Surgical (GHS) claims can be submitted online. Through AIA Malaysia eClaims process. This means that companies no longer need to submit hard copies of receipts or documents for GHS Claims for the following claim types:
- Pre-hopitalization claims
- Post-hospitalization claims
- Physiotherapy claims
- Outpatient Cancer Treatment claims
- Kidney Dialysis claims

There are 2 main coverage benefits. You choose the plans by:
- This GHS hospitalization and surgical benefits plans by room types and annual cap or limits.
- Compassionate Allowance of RM 10,000 available on all plan options.
- The GHS outpatient treatment benefit by annual cap or limits on Specialist clinics visits. GP visits are unlimited.

AIA eClaims Process
The AIA Malaysia eClaims process is very straightforward. See the eClaims process flow below.
- Claims Documents
The usual documentation for claims will be needed. Take a photo of each document you want to submit for claim.
- Upload the Photos
Upload the photos of the documents to AIA. This can be done with the My AIA app or through the AIA web portal.
- AIA Assesses the Claim
On receipt of your documents in the eClaims portal, AIA will go through the usual validation and assessment process for the claim.
- Claims Approval
Once the claim is approved, AIA will credit the payment into your bank account in 3 working days.
